It was an awesome night tonight waiting for Blood Moon, and the Lunar Eclipse to rise here in Sedona, Arizona newest Dark Sky City. Cathedral Rock is a.beauty of red rock sandstone, weathered by time and the elements that awaits you in Sedona, Arizona
In Sedona’s magnificent red rock country, Cathedral Rock a stunning masterpiece of breathtaking red rock monolith will touch your heart, and calm your inner self. One of the wonderful things about this beauty of nature, is it's ability to charm you with its shadows, reflections, and variety of colors. When the light hits Cathedral, one of the most visited spots of Sedona, it glows and the red and orange sandstones are nature in the raw. In the dry and arid conditions of northern Arizona, the light is always changing. Sedona is second only to the Grand Canyon in visitors. Whether you climb the face of Cathedral on the east side to the notch, or approach it thru Red Rock Crossing on the west side, the views are splendid and inspirin...

Tom Kelly

I ventured out West in the early 70's. After several trips to Northern Arizona with it's Majestic Skies, Red Rocks, and wide open spaces, I realized I wanted to settle here. Well, Fate came into the picture and numerous stops came along. I ventured to San Juan Islands, British Columbia, Oregon, Utah, Northern and Southern California, and even Southern Arizona. Yet , I felt unsettled looking for home to sink roots. Finally Sedona tugged hard , and I settled here in the mid 90's and rediscovered my sense of Gratitude and Enjoyment. Well I,m mostly retired now, traveling more, and have relocated in an old mining town in the Sierras; Time for change; new areas to explore. In Nature, I find that feeling of Peacefulness and Stillness. I hope...
