Santa Cruz is a wonderful beach town on the Pacific with all sorts of activities. It is known for great beaches, Sailing, Paddle Boarding, and Kayaking, diving, walking, and biking just to name a few. The Boardwalk offers wonderful sunset photography, volleyball, a fun arcade, and tons of fun. We love to walk around this area, and up to West Cliff Drive. Right next to the Boardwalk is the Wharf, which is a nice gentle walk out onto the pier. It is home to several awesome beaches, like Lighthouse field, Natural Bridges, and Seabright. I ventured out West in the early 70's. After several trips to Northern Arizona with it's Majestic Skies, Red Rocks, and wide open spaces, I realized I wanted to settle here. Well, Fate came into the picture and numerous stops came along. I ventured to San Juan Islands, British Columbia, Oregon, Utah, Northern and Southern California, and even Southern Arizona. Yet , I felt unsettled looking for home to sink roots. Finally Sedona tugged hard , and I settled here in the mid 90's and rediscovered my sense of Gratitude and Enjoyment. Well I,m mostly retired now, traveling more, and have relocated in an old mining town in the Sierras; Time for change; new areas to explore.
