Artist's Description

Several months back as I was tooling around this wonderful park in Cottonwood, I came across this cool looking Eagle hanging in plain sight. This is a great park to explore about 20 miles south of Sedona. The trails in this system are in Dead Horse Ranch State Park and in the Coconino National Forest. Trail users, the Dead Horse Ranch Trails Coalition, Arizona State Parks rangers and volunteers, and the Forest Service work together to manage and maintain the trails to provide an excellent experience in the park. Dead Horse Trail System: A non-motorized 20+ mile shared-use mix of doubletrack and singletrack. Four trailheads throughout the park lead up to the high desert of Coconino National Forest. The Lime Kiln Trail leg follows a portion of the historic Lime Kiln Wagon Road. Hikers and equestrians are encouraged to travel counter-clock...

Well I,m mostly retired now, traveling more, and have relocated in an old mining town in the Sierras; Time for change; new areas to explore. In Nature, I find that feeling of Peacefulness and Stillness. I hope...
