About 2 weeks ago, i journeyed over to Gridley, Ca and the Gray Lodge Wilderness area. I had a great time, under less than stellar conditions. It was a cold, and foggy day throughout the afternoon, as I walked and later drove thru over 9000 acres. People of all ages enjoy visiting Gray Lodge. Wildlife viewing is available year round. I ventured out West in the early 70's. After several trips to Northern Arizona with it's Majestic Skies, Red Rocks, and wide open spaces, I realized I wanted to settle here. Well, Fate came into the picture and numerous stops came along. I ventured to San Juan Islands, British Columbia, Oregon, Utah, Northern and Southern California, and even Southern Arizona. Yet , I felt unsettled looking for home to sink roots. Finally Sedona tugged hard , and I settled here in the mid 90's and rediscovered my sense of Gratitude and Enjoyment.
