A visit to Pennsylvania is not complete without visiting this home to 24 waterfalls
.most populated state, is filled with all types of folks. Rickets Glen State Park, which is located in 3 different counties, Luzerne, Sullivan, and Columbia is located 30 miles north of Bloomsburg on PA route 487 in Pennsylvania on 13 thousand acres. It is known for its old growth forest and 24 waterfalls. These waterfalls are amazing. You allow yourself 3 days at least to visit and appreciate all of them! It was once home to Native Americans who were Iroquoian � speaking Susquehannocks who lived in this area in the 1600 century. On November 5, 1768, the British acquired land called the New Purchase from the Iroquois. The park was fully opened in 1944, and is one of the most beautiful parks I have ever visited. The park offers cabins, great hiking, and photography, horseback riding, camping, and hunting. It is very helpful to have good hiking shoes as some of the trails are steep and s...

I ventured out West in the early 70's. After several trips to Northern Arizona with it's Majestic Skies, Red Rocks, and wide open spaces, I realized I wanted to settle here. Well, Fate came into the picture and numerous stops came along. I ventured to San Juan Islands, British Columbia, Oregon, Utah, Northern and Southern California, and even Southern Arizona. Yet , I felt unsettled looking for home to sink roots. Finally Sedona tugged hard , and I settled here in the mid 90's and rediscovered my sense of Gratitude and Enjoyment. Well I,m mostly retired now, traveling more, and have relocated in an old mining town in the Sierras; Time for change; new areas to explore. In Nature, I find that feeling of Peacefulness and Stillness. I hope...
