Artist's Description
A few weeks ago, I was showing my friend George this awesome place. The clouds were sweet, and the weather perfect. I shot this in color, but loved the feel of Black, and White! Cathedral Rock is the beautiful monolith in the center, and one of the most beautiful places to visit while in Sedona! They do drumming at Full Moons out there. It is wonderful in summers for fantastic night time photography as well!

I ventured out West in the early 70's. After several trips to Northern Arizona with it's Majestic Skies, Red Rocks, and wide open spaces, I realized I wanted to settle here. Well, Fate came into the picture and numerous stops came along. I ventured to San Juan Islands, British Columbia, Oregon, Utah, Northern and Southern California, and even Southern Arizona. Yet , I felt unsettled looking for home to sink roots. Finally Sedona tugged hard , and I settled here in the mid 90's and rediscovered my sense of Gratitude and Enjoyment. Well I,m mostly retired now, traveling more, and have relocated in an old mining town in the Sierras; Time for change; new areas to explore. In Nature, I find that feeling of Peacefulness and Stillness. I hope...
